Bug Description

hello.
I choose to boot with a recent daily and I ask to install on the entire disk in an experimental encrypted ZFS structure.

the installer tells me that it will create four partitions. Then it says it starts copying files

But the copy is not done at all. I think he forgot to create the four partitions

Would you post a copy of /var/log/installer/curtin-install.log please?

Does the failure look like LP: #2057661? Looking at the end of curtin-install.log is where to find this clue. If not that log would be interesting when launchpad lets you share files.
A pastebin of the log would also work.

Hello
Same thing with the new daily
The disk is not formated with the the necessary four partitions.
We can still see the three old partitions.

Hello

Good morning.
Today's test is available in this discussion https://bugs.launchpad.net/subiquity/+bug/2062175.

I forgot to tell you that at the end of January/beginning of February, I managed to install this encrypted ZFS partition on this disk.
I made regular updates.
But at some point, the grub broke. I couldn't repair it.

Since then, I can no longer install in ZFS. I decided to install encrypted LVM a few weeks ago. It is this structure that I want to replace to participate in this experimental installation which was not in version 22.04 which I managed to achieve after a certain time.

Good morning

It's still the same problem. In theory, the ISO file is this:
noble-desktop-amd64.iso.zsync 2024-04-24 11:29

Good morning.
The problem is resolved when using the official version and using the
sudo snap refresh
command before launching the installation.
