Bug Description

This is on an install using Xubuntu 20240414 in a QEMU/KVM VM, setup for UEFI.

Everything else went well up to this point.

Installer logs are attached.

(If this is a duplicate, feel free to merge.)

A failure of apt-get makes sense. I can't get the offline install to work, either with the full ISO or minimal. Both failed using the ISOs of 20240416.

Normal install with network, on the other hand, works.
