Bug Description
I'm running the Ubuntu 22.04 x64 Server installation. I ran the installation via the 'help' and 'help on ssh access' option.
The installer is pretty much the exact same as I experience via the console - with two cavaets:
1) When the installer gets to the network configuration portion, I was obviously already connected to the server via ssh, but the network configuration 'system' decided it wanted to release and renew the DHCP address --- which subsequently killed my session and gave the system a different IP Address. How can I prevent this from happening in a non-lab environment?
2) If you select the 'help' drop down, and then select the 'enter shell' option, you're presented with a classic bash shell. At that point, I entered 'passwd installer' to change password for the 'installer' account. It took the password change successfully. When I then went back into 'help' and then 'help on ssh access' it still presented me with the OLD password. This certainly isn't the case, and I was able to ssh into the system installer via the installer / new password combo.
3) When the installer finishes, I'm told to unmount the usb thumb drive and reboot the system, but this occurs AFTER my ssh is killed. How do I prevent this from happening, or how to I manage this process better?
