Hello and thank you for your bug report,

This is a known issue when running the daily 24.04 desktop installer.

A fix was merged but the daily currently uses the last stable
ubuntu-desktop-installer snap.

The fix is part of the snap revision 1272 (currently in candidate).

If you would like to test the fix, you can try:

 * stopping the installer
 * running `snap refresh ubuntu-desktop-installer --channel latest/candidate`
 * starting the installer

The progress is tracked as part of bug 2042717.

Thank you,
Olivier
