Bug Description

The new Ubuntu desktop installer available in the current version 23.04, does not setup the BtrFS subvolumes as the "classical" Ubuntu desktop used to do. AFAIK the old installer created two subvolumes, "@" as the main root directory, and "@home" for the /home folder. It also added to /etc/fstab the "subvol=" mount option to make the "@" subvolume the default volume for booting.

The new installer doesn't create any subvolumes and doesn't do any kind of special setup for BtrFS. I consider this a regression since a functionality that was present before has been removed with no warning. Some tools like Timeshift also depend on this subvolume layout to work correctly.

Thanks a lot in advance for your time and for considering this bug.
