Hi guiverc, can you please also append the /var/log/cloud-init.log file to this bug

We have a traceback. No log exists because the traceback happens before logging is initialized.

It appears this bug report is due to a version conflict in your snap packaging, so not a cloud-init issue. If that is incorrect, please set the status back to New and how the problem relates to cloud-init.
