Installer uses only top left quarter of the screen

Bug Description

I have installed
Ubuntu-Server 21.10 "Impish Indri" - Alpha arm64 (20210813)
with an 3840x2160 screen attached.

Only the top left quarter of the screen is used by the installer.

This results in nearly illegible output.

Either use the full screen with a larger font or switch to 1920x1080.

Best regards

Heinrich

The console of the installed system shows the same behavior. Only the top of the screen is used for output.

KDE uses the full screen with 3840x2160 resolution. So this is not a problem with the nouveau driver used by my GT 710 graphics card.

You can override this on the kernel command line with something like drm.edid_firmware=edid/1024x768.bin but I don't know a way to say "don't use a resolution higher than 1080p please".
