Bug Description

There's no visual indication of the version of subiquity presented in the UI. After doing a manual snap refresh subiquity and returning to the subuqity UI, I can't tell whether I'm still running the previous version or the updated version.

It's in "about this installer" but maybe it should be more prominent somehow.

Huh, where is that? I'm not sure I've seen that screen.

Yeah, I was thinking in the top banner on the Welcome Page (Language Select) or in the footer with
the (1/7) status/instructions. It could precede either text, something like:

Subiquity ($channel $revid): Welcome! ....

The thing is, when you refresh to a new version you don't generally see the
first screen!

Right. I wasn't clear enough, by in Header or Footer, I mean *on* every page.
