Bug Description
RAID support seems to have been removed in January 2017, over a year ago.
If Subiquity is to be the preferred installer for Ubuntu Server 18.04 then it requires RAID support.
Lack of RAID support has to be a bug in this case, not a missing feature, since it was already (partially) implemented and is required for Server versions (and should be required for Desktop versions too in my opinion).
A secondary issue is that RAID support is not offered if only one disk is present. Please remove this restriction, I need to be able to install onto half a mirror then add the other half after installation. Thank you.

The latest dailies and 18.04.1 (to be released this week) support RAID. They don't allow the creation of a degraded setup though, so I guess I can retitle and repurpose the bug for that.
