Bug Description

The 2.0.13 version of Subdownloaderon Windows 7 and Win XP MCE 2005 will not save any subtitles. It claims to have not write rights in the folder. I tried it on two PC's. And even the one containing the hard drive with video files, but I will not save anything.

Does anybody know a solution?

I think I know why this issue is happening.

I believe it´s related to the way the path is used by the application trying to save the file.

If you see the dialog window, it will say something like:

C:/Users/<Username>/Downloads\<name of the file>

As you can see, it is using a wrong set of slashes, as in Windows the correct slash is backslash (\) and not the regular slash as in *nix.

I hope this helps for all of us who have paid for the Windows version and are looking to get a solution for this so we can fully use this amazing and great software.

Also, I confirm the same problem is present in OpenSubdownloader version hosted here at LaunchPad.

Thanks a lot Helder for pointing out where the problem could be in the Windows version.

I'd be releasing a new version soon fixing this problem, you'll receive an email as soon as we release it.
Take care.
