subdownloader 2.0.7 does not start on windows vista (permissions for log file)

Hi everybody!
I installed subdownloader on a windows vista system and on a windows XP system. Subdownloader does not start on the vista machine whereas it works perfectly on the Xp system.
Any idea of what is going on?

you will find a stderr.txt file in your SubDownloader installation folder , can you paste here its content to see what is your problem in your vista?

it doesn't generatesuch a file...sorryI checked on xp and there everything is normal, included the stderr file

Does your user has permission of writing in the folder where SubDownloader is installed ?

Probably in ProgramFiles\SubDownloader

Windows Vista can be a bitch with permissions.

I'm almost sure it's a permission issue. You can fix that by setting subdownloader.exe with 'admin' level, so it can write the file properly. (yes, it's that dumbish)

far way from bothering, you have help us to detect a possible common problem for Vista users.

I'll do some changes in the app to avoid writing the register if there is no permission in the folder.
