A lot of this depends on OpenSubtitles.com supporting this.

An alternative would be to have a separate opensubtitles.com for TV Series, just as the current one is optimized for movies.

I solved looking directly the IMDB ID instead of the title. The correct ID can be extracted from the URL of IMDB's page. For example, the URL for Dexter Season 3 Episode 1 is http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1242111/, the ID of the episode is 1242111. Using this number in the SearchBox of SubDownloader you can distinguish between different episodes of a series.
