wxPython replay works badly when windows are hidden on Windows

Bug Description
It now seems to be triggered by
- selecting multiple lines and non-existent lines in the same usecase
- hiding the window (if I disable TextTest's instruction to hide the
test window it works)
This feels like a wxPython bug underneath to me as seemingly random
things appear to trigger it.

Seems to have appeared in various other contexts, now disabling window-hiding for wxPython by default.
