Stock moves should be forbidden during inventory

In some countries (France for example), it is forbidden to make any stock move during the physical inventory. OpenERP should reflect this and refuse to record stock moves until the inventory is validated.

This is clearly a new feature rather than a bug in itself, but I'm filing it here to keep it on the radar. Feel free to mark "Wishlist".

but (without checking what is implemented) - the locking should be done on a very low level (product or location or warehouse)

in Austria we are "only" obliged to make ONE inventory per year, a good point in time is when the calculated stock is 0 (zero).
nevertheless we found it useful to avoid large differences to set the required inventory frequency depending on value and turnover of the product or product category from

twice a year
quarterly
monthly

Quentin clearly stated he won't consider this for v8, because the constraint will be a heavy burden on the server.
It is implemented in a community module called "stock_inventory_location" that Loïc Bellier and I are putting toghether for the OCA project stock-logistic-warehouse.
