Location dialog corruption after adding new

Ubuntu/QT 4.8.0/trunk r5286

Weird one this.

1. Click map
2. Enter new location name
3. Hit the add new button
4. Move mouse up over the location listbox

I do not have this issue on my Mac. I'll try my Ubuntu box tomorrow.

I don't suppose you see anything in the log? The reason I ask is, I've been seeing a few odd things there myself.

Oh, I do not no that it matters, but I'm using 4.8.1, which is what I have in m Ubuntu machine too. If it works on my box tomorrow, perhaps it is a 4.8.0 issue? (it would be great to have time to go over their bug list to see what may be impacting us...)

One other thing: in your screen shot, I see the stars rendered. Do the stars correctly render? If you wait, do they redraw in their correct position? Or does that part of the image stay static?

I can not reproduce this on my Ubuntu 11.10 system with Qt 4.8.1.

I can not reproduce this on my Ubuntu 11.10 system with Qt 4.8.1 from source code (--static). I think it Qt 4.8.0 related bug.

Well, except I was mistaken as to what version of Qt I had on my Ubuntu box; it's 4.8.0.

Tried with Ubuntu 4.8.0 and 4.8.1, and con not reporduce. Closing.
