Bug Description

I installed 0.11.0 and star and planet names are unreadable. Jiberish of a sort. If i click on a star, the info comes up in the left hand corner just fine. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it. Same thing. I tryed a differant res, still didn't help. I unstalled it again so i don't have the log file. I tryed to change the inf.config file to 800/600 to see if it helped but still the same. I have used Stellarium for years and have never had this problem. I'm running XP sp3, 2 gigs ram. 2.53mhz P4. ATI radeon 9550 card. Driver Packaging Version 8.593.100-100210a-095952E-ATI
Catalyst™ Version 10.2

I have seen the same problem.
As driver ver. 8.593-100 seemed to show up the case, I tried a workaround.

Old driver (not from amd site - amd legacy drivers has got the same 8.593 driver indifferent from Catalyst version)
installed: Catalyst 8.12 driver ver.: 8.561
                        Openglx showed: OpenGL 2.0 support.
                                Problem disappeared from Stellarium.
                                fps.: 70 to 120

By installing Catalyst 9.3 driver ver.: 8.591
                        Openglx showed: OpenGL 2.1 support
--> the same problem with stellarium

My video card is: x1950pro

I hope helps a little.

Sorry, I mixed up the versions before.

Good working: driver ver.: 8.391 and NOT 8.561 and NOT Catalyst 8.12
