No, it's not a bug. Shadows is not yet implemented

This has actually been on the "to do" list for a long time, and it is not forgotten (just not yet done).

I know it used to be an open feature request when we had those on sourceforge before we moved to launchpad, so I'm going to re-open it and make it one here now (wishlist).
