Bug Description

10.2 never gave me this bug sort of thang. When I first upgraded to 10.4 & now again with10.5, my fonts are garbled and almost unreadable. I am sitting on WinXP Professional with a Fast Pentium & a Gig of Ram. The video card is an ATI Display Driver Version: 8.593.100-100210a-095952E-ATI. I get all the bells and whistles just crappy fonts from a reular start.
Can U help a brother out? Has anyone else reported this font issue withthe same video card?

Did you try the suggestions in wiki page "Known issues with video driver"?
(yust in case, it' s here: http://www.stellarium.org/wiki/index.php/Known_issues_with_video_drivers )
You can try to disable OpenGL 2. In config.ini, section [main], add:

use_qpaintenginegl2 = false
