0.17.0 Win64 on Windows 10
Viewing location Kuala Lumpur
Moving forward to Lunar eclipse on 31st January 2018, as the moon rises and starts to enter eclipse Stellarium crashes and closes

Odd numbering. The beta won't install as Trend Micro AV pounced on "unauthorized file encryption" targeting garching-gl1.png

O.90.0.15776-win64 installs and the eclipse no longer causes a crash, so this bug can be closed, thanks

what about updating the ppa for ubuntu with the fixed version?

Why you do not using PPA with the fixes? We update the PPA every day.

I use the PPA && did an apt update. Still on 0.17.0 which crashes.
woods@kdepc:~$ stellarium --version
Stellarium 0.17.0

PPA url shows no update
