Bug Description

I am new to this software. I installed Stellarium Version 16 and everything seems to have installed OK but after starting the software reports Record Error 20032 and to contact Customer Services? I am using Windows 7 Pro on a three screen self built ASUS Workstation computer based on a Intel i7 processor.

Any help in resolving this problem would be appreciated.

OK, it's definitely driver problem. Could you check drivers for your graphics card?

Alex, I have just checked the graphics drivers and I have the latest software Radeon version 17.11.2 Crimson ReLive so should be working OK, I upgraded these last night but yet still have the error?

I have just run Stellarium in OpenGL diagnostic mode to see if there are any clues, attached is the log file

Can you see anything obvious?

Regards,
Chris

I don't see obvious problems, sorry. Could you show log.txt from ANGLE mode also?

P.S. Could you install latest beta in separate directory and check it too?

Alex, attached is the Angle Log file,

I will try later to download the beta version to see if that helps,

I have also emailed AMD to see if they can help, but that will be slow time reply

Chris,

Google for "Record Error 20032" indicates ATI/AMD driver issues. Nothing we can do about, sorry. If it works with ANGLE, use it.

Thanks to Alex Wolf I finally found the problem and the cure. Alex you were right it was the AMD drivers, but not the normal drivers but the ones for Radeon Re-Live which monitor games and allow the player to replay the program again. I spoke with AMD technicians and they recommended I uninstall all their drivers, then reboot and then reinstall. But I had an incline there was something else too, so I uninstalled all of AMD Radeon Re-Live, rebooted, then went to C:\AMD and removed any old drivers, (there was multiple versions there), then rebooted again. I did not reinstall Radeon Re-Live.

I than ran Stellarium and found PlaysTV tried to also record, so I uninstalled that program too; now Stellarium runs perfect in normal OpenGL mode without any glitches and no Record Errors too.

Thanks everyone, Stellarium is now working perfect :-)
