Bug Description

Since the last update (0.16.1) on debian testing, the day sky is pink.

I've attached a screenshot. Previous version was working well.

$uname -a
Linux debian 4.13.0-1-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 4.13.4-1 (2017-10-01) x86_64 GNU/Linux

It's an interesting. Could you show ~/.stellarium/log.txt after run the command "stellarium --dump-opengl-details" in terminal?

The effect of --dump-opengl-details should be visible a bit further down. It should list the 322 or so OpenGL extensions implemented by your version of NVidia driver, this section cannot be overlooked.

Possibly you need NVidia's "binary blob" driver?

The only thing I can say is I did not have any problem with other versions !!

You can always remove your ~/.stellarium. However I don't see where "no change in skylight code" would translate to "suddenly pink sky", on just one in 10,000s of computers. I also have an older notebook with Geforce 9800 and Ubuntu, all looks good there. Sorry, this is really strange.

I would try the binary NVidia driver, although I know some open-source purists abstain from that.

Yes. Installing NVidia driver is not a pleasant thing for me because everything else is working well.

Maybe I can help by debuging with gdb ? Just tell me what I have to search.

Given that it works on all other systems, I have no idea where to search. Relevant classes for the sky to start with are modules/Atmosphere, modules/Skylight, modules/Skybright, and StelSkyDrawer.

I'm facing an identical issue with Stellarium 0.16.1 on a fresh install of Fedora 26 (I've since upgraded to Fedora 27 and the problem persists). I've tried renaming my ~/.stellarium folder to see if anything in there is causing the issue (I just copied it over from a previous Ubuntu installation), but it didn't seem to affect anything. Here's my ~/.stellarium/log.txt after running 'stellarium --dump-opengl-details':

I confirm the same issue with Stellarium 0.19.3.

I noted that is with Nouveau driver to Nvidia card. Sadly, at my pc, the propetary nvidia driver give me a black screen and I must use Nouveau. I have not problem with another software using Nouveau, just Stellarium.

I use a lot Stellarium. Is the first time that I get a pink sky, also is the first time that I uso Nouveae driver.

My system:
Linux Mint 19.3 5.0.0-37-generic #40~18.04.1-Ubuntu SMP Thu Nov 14 12:06:39 UTC 2019 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

With lspci -vnnn comand, I get this on Nvidia driver.
