With Stellarium 0.16.1 on Linux 64bit:

Build is successfull, but the "make tests" fails for the following test:

A fix has been committed as revision 9825 of the trunk branch in Stellarium's Bazaar repository at Launchpad: http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~stellarium/stellarium/trunk/revision/9825

This fix also cover the bug #1706187 (the source of current bug).
