DSO Catalogs Won't Show in 0.16.0

How is possible - you say "won't show" and you can see DSO in same time?

I mean that no other DSO's from the listed catalogs show on the main
screen. I check all of them - and only PGC-labeled DSO's show up.

Are you checked what catalogs are enabled for displaying?

Please show screenshot and attach a log from Stellarium.

ALL the catalogs were/are ticked-off to display, but ONLY the PGC and a few
LDN enties were shown. I didn't take a screenshot, and I'm back using the
0.15.2 now. But all were checked-off in DSO's to display. I triple-checked
this.

Cannot confirm on Win10, but you also have not indicated your operating system.

That may help! I'm running Windows 8.1 with a Classic Shell. My computer is
a Dell Inspiron Laptop.

Did you do a clean install?
Can you delete (or at least rename) your C:\Users\YOU\AppData\Roaming\Stellarium ?

I'm nursing a broken shoulder here, so I decided I'd wipe out the previous
Stellarium just about completely and delete the AppData\Roaming you
suggested, George. Drop in the 0.16.0 in it's place, and start
re-installing my usual settings. Having nothing else to do, I decided I had
the time. And it worked fine! DSO's catalogs are showing as they should
now, so a cold install turned the trick here.

I guess the lesson to be had is that with Windows 8.1 64-bit, this may well
be needed. Why? I have no idea. But that's your bailiwick, Gentlemen. All I
know is that I loathe MicroSoft and Windows 8, 8.1, & 10.

So now I'll finish re-installing my settings and adjust all to my
standards. Thank you very much for your attention to this matter, and for
what appears to be a very fine update to the new 0.16.0, it looks very good
from my view - now that I can see all the DSO catalogs again!

Well doing the install after removing 0.15.2 completely, including all my
settings, was all it needed to show all the catalogs of DSO's. Before all
it would show in planetarium-mode was the PGC catalog and the LDN catalog.
So now it's fixed and all of the catalogs are available again.

It's annoying to have to enter all my settings again - but much better than
having only a few DSO catalogs available as was before the situation. I've
never had a problem like that before after installing a few version and/or
trunk.

I owe you all a few bottles of good Champagne!
