I am wondering if there is a way to manually slew like the hand controller does, for example, using the arrow keys until I reach the coordinates I want, instead of guessing the final location and typing it in, and having it go to that.
It would be easier in some situations to just use the arrows to lock the object into center if alignment is off

In latest betas (0.13.1.9x) you can slew the telescope to coordinates of center of the screen in the Telescope Control plugin. Plus Oculars plugin in sensor mode display coordinates of center of the screen. I guess this request can be successful solved through new features of those plugins.
