Screen Flickers when Stellarium 0.12.4 loads

Hi all,

I have a HP Pavillion DV6 Laptop running Win 7 - 64bit Home Premium OS.

When loading Stellarium 0.12.4 I see the splash screen fine, but then the screen starts flashing as soon as Stellarium has loaded, I believe this is in Full screen mode. The only way to stop this from happening is to go into windowed mode (going to bottom of screen and clicking on the rectangle with arrows coming out of it)

After that the program runs fine. The FPS bounces between 6 and 9 when flickering in full screen mode and 65 fps in windowed mode.

Any ideas what could be causing this?

Hi,
I have the same laptop and I fixed the issue recently. Please use the last
build and confirm.

Hi Fabian, thanks for the information, I downloaded the latest build 0.13 and it still came up flickering, although it did load much quicker.

Dear Andrew, have you tried 0.13.3, and is this still an issue?

I Downoaded v13.1 and it is now working without the flickering. Not sure what was done, but whatever it was, has fixed it. thanks.
