Bug Description

Again testing 0.13alpha5 on a 2008 CoreDuo PC (Win7/pro) with Intel Q45/Q43 Express Chipset (GMA X4500). This should support OpenGL2.1, but the log is full with lines like getProcAddress: Unable to resolve 'glGenerateMipmap'. There are then again strange problems in Night Mode: Apart from the stalled display (already fixed), there is a semitransparent overlaying box in size similar to the region where the two fold-out menus are.
Is there something just not initialized? The MESA version works without these problems here (apart from the -already fixed- stalled display), and fortunately reasonably fast (about 15fps).
I tried with the most recent drivers (8.15.10.2869).
I cannot build from source here, but it seems a quite typical setup for "cheap" PCs.
G.

It appears that the planet shaders indeed require OpenGL3/GLSL1.30. Only MESA provides this in this case.

I guess we can put this to rest. This GMA X4500 just is not able to run Stellarium 0.13+ as we need GLSL1.30.
