Bug Description

Downloading a file tonight, I noticed that while the status says "3.3 out of 4.5 MB Downloaded (73%), blow it says "Download finished". The file is corrupt, and with no option to "Restart" the download, I am forced to remove it, and then find the original link and re-add it manually..

The copy download link option due in the next version would help this somewhat, but a restart option would be optimal.

I've just yesterday experienced this bug again, this time with a file reported 93% completed by the bar, while the text below reported Download Finished..

Good thing I was able to use good 'ol "wget -c http://www......" to save the download that had been going on over several days (African internet connections and large downloads make for a lot of hair pulling at times).

Hope you get this fixed soon.

Yes, this is the file I was downloading: http://download.lenovo.com/ibmdl/pub/pc/pccbbs/mobiles/8aw211ww.exe

I previously experienced the problem with a small file (see screenshot from first bug post), and would have suspected some relation to the poor internet connections down here, instead of the files or servers themselves.

This just happened agian, this time downloading Backtrack ISO..

http://ftp.halifax.rwth-aachen.de/backtrack/BT5-GNOME-64.iso

9% complete, says download finished..

Until you figure out this bug, can you maybe just institute a "resume download" option, that defies the "download complete" statement, and attempts to resume the download again (ala. wget -c http://www...)?
