don't show clear icon if there is nothing to clear

Bug Description
Steadyflow currently shows a lot of clear icons in entries. This is nice because its a really quick way to start fresh. However, it currently shows clear icons when there is nothing in the entry. This behavior doesn't seem right.
Instead, Steadyflow should only show a clear icon in the entry if there is actually something to clear.
