Shellcheck doesn't seem like it was ever run on code from starlingx/
Download archives, unzip/untar, git init, apply patches.
Need to run shellcheck and fix errors for code that the patches touches.
Code may hide bugs that may be uncovered by the linter. Ideally we want to fix these.
