stx aio bare metal 7.0 centos / openstack fails

tried to deploy openstack on stx aio bare metal 7.0 centos / openstack fails
Application-apply rejected: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'startswith'
done it before on 6.x, no issues, seems something broken

Had a successful install using STX r 7.0 and the respective helm-charts:
