Bug Description

Brief Description
-----------------
I think this is related to https://bugs.launchpad.net/starlingx/+bug/1883599.

So some cert files in /tmp/tmp**** has been removed (probably by CentOS). Now I cannot reapply platform-integ-apps or stx-openstack.

Error is SSLError: no such file or directory.

I get from /var/log/sysinv.log that this traces back to problem calling self._kube.lube_get_secret(DOCKER_REGISTRY_SECRET, ns)

Tried restarting sysinv-conductor service but to no avail. Is there a workaround?

Severity
--------
Major

Steps to Reproduce
------------------
Remove files in /tmp/tmp**** either manually or just let the system sit idle for about half a month. Then try to reapply any of the helm apps.

Expected Behavior
------------------
helm apps should apply succesfully.

Actual Behavior
----------------
helm app apply fails with SSLError no such file or directory.

Reproducibility
---------------
100% reproducible

System Configuration
--------------------
STX 3.0 AIO

Yes this indeed sounds like https://bugs.launchpad.net/starlingx/+bug/1883599

The workaround stated in the above LP is:
Restart the sysinv-conductor to recover the system:
sudo sm-restart service sysinv-conductor

This should allow any "system" commands to succeed. What's the exact cmd you are using?

marking as Won't Fix as there is no response from the reporter is several months. Additionally, stx.3.0 is EOL. Suggest to re-test with a newer load.

Changed in starlingx:

status: New → Won't Fix
