Bug Description

Hi,
We are facing some issues on Openstack on StarlingX. We are using StarlingX R2.0. Openstack is running fine. But, The Main VM is asking for password Change due to password expire. I have changed the password. After that, Openstack webpage is not accessing. It's getting " Timed out " And when i revert the old snapshot, then openstack webpage is working fine. Is there any connection between VM password and Openstack/openstack webpage.

Thanks & Regards
Sai Chandu Behara

Assigning to distro.openstack PL for review/follow-up.
Not sure if there is enough information here. Follow-up with the reporter is likely needed.

did you actually change the password for the VM (what OS??) which was created by OpenStack?

Please provide more information for debugging.

As well, running "collect" cmd on all nodes (controllers and compute nodes) will zip all necessary files (including log files) for the issue diagnosis.

Hi
I'm trying to get the logs using " collect " commend, getting some error.

controller-0:~$ collect
[sudo] password for sysadmin:
collecting data from 1 host(s): controller-0
collecting controller-0_20191226.053846 ... failed
Error: failed to collect from controller-0 (reason:10:operation timeout)

please let me know next steps.

Hi Sai Chandu Behara,

Could you please retest with latest StarlingX build.
If it still fail, please try to use collect command to get logs.

Thanks!
