Bug Description
I don't really know how to do this, but it would be really cool to have a system that lets people release their derivatives and improvements, without replacing the original, and while providing quick links to the new ones.

This could be solved with smart taxonomy/tags (related tags sort of thing).
Maybe an option of upload a derivate of this original material could do the trick?
I am also thinking of a new approach to localization of material (in the end just another typo of derivate) which would comprehend the use of image tags (flags) og normal tags in the material node. One node per material (if possible or doable) with the possibility to change the language of the site itself.
Does this makes sense?
