Bug Description
Currently a arbitrary time period is used for the default of stats display. It may be useful to pick a time period which 'means' something - and I suggest going with the default 10 week time period (which is a standard university trimester). This will allow a student, at the end of the term, to see their progress back over the term.
We may want to have this configurable for the user somewhere, but for the time being set default?

Changed default from 7 days to 10 weeks.
Just to note there is no configuration yet but it is possible to get different scales and units using the query string, e.g. http://
