Bug Description
Binary package hint: soundconverter
It sometimes happens to me to convert audio CDs using sound-juicer.
Simple converter in its interface but yet powerful in the output customization habilities through its connection to the "GNOME audio profile editor"
The interface simpleness is the reason why sound-converter interests me.
Unluckily it does not use the same profile editor to choose the output format.
Having previously made some custom profiles when ripping CDs I was expecting to use them here.
Moreover I must admit that I didn't found my happiness in the existing output parameters
Don't you think this could be interesting to have something harmonized between GNOME audio converters ?

I'm totally aware of the problem.
I think manually editing the profiles is neither a simple or an elegant solution.
I also think the majority of soundconverter users prefer it the way it is. Gnome audio profiles are more ripping/recording oriented.
A simple and elegant solution would be to use gnome audio profiles, and make a powerful graphical editor for them.
This is planned for soudconverter2, but I don't have the time to make it happen right now.
