Bug Description

I am running Ubuntu Linux. I installed SOFA using the full instructions from the web. The program starts correctly, then when I try to load a .sav file which was created in SPSS 16 for Windows it says it can't load .sav files.

Thanks

I haven't added that functionality yet but perhaps it is time I did. Let's treat this as a feature request and I'll make a start.

The spss.py module I was thinking of using failed to open the first sav file I gave it. I'll email the module maintainer but I suspect I will not be able to add SPSS importing to SOFA Statistics anytime soon. Sorry about that. In the meantime it is probably a case of exporting from SPSS and then importing into SOFA Statistics. I have attached the spss.py module in case anyone can work on it for me. It is probably not too hard but I have higher priorities in my development plan for SOFA Statistics. E.g. data visualisations and charting.
