Bug Description

Install instructions at http://wiki.sugarlabs.org/go/Sugar_on_a_Stick/Blueberry#Download_locations in the "For Mac OS X users" do not state a minimum python requirement. The problem with this is that the default python install for 10.5 is 2.5, and the image-writer-mac make use of apis (Popen.send_signal) that require Python 2.6

Even better would be to also modify the install-writer-mac to do a version check and spit out a more user friendly error message about the version requirement (the error message that the send_signal attribute is not available on Popen as part of a stack trace is likely to confuse non-programmers).

That's good to know, thanks for the heads-up! I'll adjust the docs in a second.
