Bug Description

Expected behaviour

snapcraft push succeeds
Steps to reproduce the problem

build a snap from this repo: https://github.com/paroj/stuntrally/blob/master/snapcraft.yaml
    run snapcraft push
    hangs forever at "Processing..."

also reproducible with build.snapcraft.io: https://build.snapcraft.io/user/paroj/stuntrally/821952

probably related to the snap size which is 991MB

Do we always get "Processing" when calling the API? If there is a documented MAX wait time, we can probably terminate the connection if we get "Processing" too many times, but would we potentially be killing valid connections then?

Maybe "Processing" needs a ticker so we know it isn't dead. Just a random thought.
