Bug Description
Default license was set to "Proprietary", trying to change the license doesn't work:

Nothing shows when typing.

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and help improve the Snap Store!
Could I ask you to please reload the license editing page?
I went in to check the issue you mentioned, and initially I saw the same behavior, but when I reloaded the page things started working. I think I had a cached old version of the necessary Javascript code to autocomplete license names.
Also, remember the licenses are identified by their full name, so "GPL" is the SPDX identifier but the License name is actually "GNU General Public License". The autocompleter should help you here.
I'll mark the issue as Invalid since it's apparently a code caching issue but please reopen (set the status to New) and comment if you still experience problems.
