Bug Description

I use deepin 15.7 (a popular Linux distribution from China) with snap version 2.34. I have installed NVIDIA official driver r390.67. I find if I don't install snap with --classic option, then the app cannot be started. If I install with --classic option, then I can start the app but saw some warning messages like the attached screenshot shown.

If you need more information, please feel free to let me know.

Hello

According to snap info notepadqq:

channels:
  stable: 1.4.8 2018-09-14 (855) 151MB -
  candidate: ↑
  beta: 2.0.0-beta+git 2019-10-12 (890) 201MB classic
  edge: 2.0.0-beta+git 2019-10-14 (895) 193MB classic

The stable version of notepadqq uses strict confinement while beta and edge are using classic. Installation of a snap that is made with strict confinement in mind using --classic is unsupported and, I believe, silently does not honor --classic.

The errors are not related to snapd, they must originate from the notepadqq snap itself. As such I'd like to encourage you to report them to notepadqq developers directly. Normally snap info displays contact information but this snap does not appear to have it.

I'm marking the bug as invalid but please feel free to reopen if there is new information about the problem that indicates it is something specific to snapd.
