Bug Description
snapd typically comes with a timer unit that triggers a refresh periodically. This can potentially download hundreds of megabytes in the background, which is an issue if the system is connected to a metered connection.
It would be preferable, if the daemon refused to refresh snaps when according to NetworkManager the main network connection is marked as metered. Of course, an optional argument might be added that would override this check.
