description |
Story: while running console-conf test plan I tried this with different sd cards and always get the same result. Once I type a wrong SSID for my wlan and the correct password, it never returns a wrong SSID message, it keeps thinking and if I try to cancel it crashes rebooting console-conf.
Environment:
latest candidate image on db
- snapd 2.23.1
- candidate: 16-2 (1444) 69MB
Steps:
1º Flash db image from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-core/16/candidate/
2º Boot core and press enter a couple of times to get to networking
3º Select wlan0
4º Type a wrong wlan SSID, the right password and press done
5º In networking page press done again
Expected result: console-conf returns a message about bad settings or bad config
Current result: it keeps thinking without returning any information and crashes when trying t cancel the process
Add info: once console-conf reboots there is no issue if you try with the correct configuration for your wlan |
