fuse allows unprivileged users to handle various types of filesystems locally or remotely (if they are in the fuse group)
this comes in very handy inside snap packages (to use sshfs fr example).
sadly currenntly all access to /dev/fuse is blocked (there are additional issues thouhg, even running in devmode causes a mount error)
we should have an interface that enables snaps to make use of fuse filesystems.
doing a test snap that simply uses sshfs i get http://paste.ubuntu.com/19368313/ when running in strict mode
using devmode instead gets me http://paste.ubuntu.com/19369738/ |
