Bug Description
Testing the beaglebone and trying to reproduce a problem Paul is having on the lab we found that on the first boot, the board doesn't get an ipv4 address assigned.
Tested in beaglebone black revC, rolling edge #191.

I've seen this happen on both boards in the lab, and was just able to confirm it on the one I have at home also

Same here, this is the complete screen log [1]. It seems that the missing bits when it fails are:
Created slice system-ifup.slice.
Found device /sys/subsystem/

Priority set to critical because it is blocking the automation of bbb tests.

hey Paul, I'm now getting an IP in my beaglebone without problems. Are you still having the issue in the lab?

I was able to save the syslog from the first boot where I didn't get an ipv4 address: http:// paste.ubuntu. com/12697260/
