This is because now the binaries include debug information, which used not to be the case. This is *probably* happening due to some change in the autotools snapcraft plugin. |
The reason for this is LP: #1791946. There is also the fact that we are compiling without -O2 all of our snaps that include autotools. That includes:
* wpa-supplicant
* bluez
* network-manager
* pulseaudio
* wifi-ap
* modem-manager |
