Bug Description
The autopkgtest for snapd in bionic now fails, as go 1.18 has changed the behaviour of "go get" and the bionic autopkgtest doesn't install go from the 1.17 channel.
As an aside, why does the snapd autopkgtest build spread from git HEAD, rather than installing a prebuilt binary? It seems susceptible to failures such as this one.
