Bug Description

When running autopkgtests, one of our tests that works well on GCE, produces the following error that I extracted from the logs[1]:
- Disconnect gtk3-hello:gnome-3-28-1804 from gnome-3-28-1804:gnome-3-28-1804 (cannot update mount namespace of snap "gtk3-hello": cannot update preserved namespace of snap "gtk3-hello": cannot update snap namespace: cannot create writable mimic over "/usr/share": no such file or directory)

If useful as a data point, this used to work fine circa 2 months ago.

Yes, this shows up every time we trigger our upstream test suite on that architecture
