Bug Description
If a snap's description includes any Markdown formatting (even just simple italic or bold), these are shown without transformation when the user does a "snap info <snapname>". At the console, the Markdown should be stripped to make it just plain text.

To strip markdown we'd need to parse markdown, at which point we might as well do the bold/italic bits at least :-)
I'm wanting to work on this but haven't found the time yet. It's a nice-to-have and we're still full in need-to-have territory.
