Can't launch brave from dock

Bug Description

The icon, once added to the dock as favorite, can't start the application.

I have attempted to reproduce this issue on Ubuntu 19.04 with snapd 2.42~pre2

In my case, running GNOME Shell I was able to successfully pin brave but it would indeed refuse to launch. Interestingly "snap run brave" worked correctly when invoked from a terminal.

I'm marking this as confirmed and will ask my colleagues to investigate.

For the record, the desktop file generated by snapd contains this line:

Exec=env BAMF_DESKTOP_FILE_HINT=/var/lib/snapd/desktop/applications/brave_brave.desktop /snap/bin/brave %U

Which seems correct.
