Bug Description

Clean install of fedora. Installed snapd, installed the brave snap. Run brave from the command line, there's no output, and the app doesn't launch. Other snaps work fine.

$ snap version
snap 2.31.1-2.fc27
snapd 2.31.1-2.fc27
series 16
fedora 27
kernel 4.15.10-300.fc27.x86_64

Alan, do you mind re-checking it in latest Fedora? Any errors in the journal / system logs?

Changed in snapd:
status: New → Incomplete

Checked on fedora 29, and again it fails silently, and there's nothing in syslog or journal.

Changed in snapd:
status: Incomplete → Triaged
importance: Undecided → High
