Brave browser fails to launch on fedora

Bug Description

Clean install of fedora. Installed snapd, installed the brave snap. Run brave from the command line, there's no output, and the app doesn't launch. Other snaps work fine.

$ snap version
snap 2.31.1-2.fc27
snapd 2.31.1-2.fc27
series 16
fedora 27
kernel 4.15.10-300.fc27.x86_64

Alan, do you mind re-checking it in latest Fedora? Any errors in the journal / system logs?

Checked on fedora 29, and again it fails silently, and there's nothing in syslog or journal.

Zyga just tested this on fedora 31 with snapd 2.42.2 and reports it works.
